Some mean and evil, so called Selfish president of associations, ( especially Somerset and Chatham ) need to be removed. Otherwise this place will go down in History as evil people with evil, selfish motives. Stay away from those locations and inquire by residents before you purchase a unit. The only maintenance which is taken care of is the landscaping and pools. Otherwise those units are Old and Moldy.
It’s a very clean place with gated security. You can leave your doors open and not worry. Yes there are some cranky old farts there but other than that you could pay a whole lot more to live in South Florida. I bought this place to escape the cold Long Island winter. Yes it’s old buildings but they are time tested also. New construction in Florida is pretty flimsy built compared to these structures.
