Here’s my experience with Century Saving and Loan. My father passed in late 2023, and he left me a couple of very old houses. I reached out to Century for a heloc to help cover the repair costs. Meeting the bank’s application requirements cost me $5000, between insurance and appraisals. I was also required to move into the house (This was the second time I had to move to a different city in a six month period). It took a little over a month for them to process the application. This bank has the absolute rudest tellers!! I'll never recommend this bank, ever! Plus, they charge 10$ every month to have a checking account. If you don't like your job, find another!
