Update March 29, 2025: Still no change. Site inspections still not updated. Don't trust this place until they have updated information and accreditation. Update October 19, 2024: No site visits are listed for this residence since August 2023. When my father left there in June, they were glad to see us go. If you have a problem, speak up. the care of my father at century park was HORRIBLE. thankfully, we were able to get him transferred to a wonderful facility where the staff was well trained and the patients were treated as human beings. i WOULD NOT recommend this facility to my worst enemy.
My parents were probably the first residents… my mom in peach unit and my dad in the dementia unit. Mr dad’s diamond ring was stolen from the nursing station. Nothing was ever done about it even with getting the RCMP involved Not impressed with the living conditions.
If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. The company that now owns Century Park has stripped away everything that resembles “care.” First, there is no staff. If you’re lucky, you might see ONE nursing assistant washing dishes. Additionally, they have removed ALL enrichment activities. The “activity room” is empty. The halls are silent. The residents wander aimlessly with nothing to do. Don’t be fooled by the glossy Optima brochures. Do NOT allow your family members to be placed here. It’s a prison, not a care facility.
Not Enough Staff...period..and staff not able to do get all the residential needs . Oversite..On many levels needs attention. Workers hired need to live in area would be helpful..
