I went into Putnum Bank this morning seeking a notary public. Upon my inquiry, the teller said yes, and asked me if I was a customer or had an account. I said no, I just moved to the area. The teller said she was pretty sure they didn't notarize documents for non-customers. Then she went to an office and asked, "We don't notarize for non-customers, do we?" Ok.
