Purchased mine at Walmart. The best tasting of the season. You can really taste the strawberry. Not like other varieties. Check out QR code tells about the berry you are eating. Awesome job growing. Will be looking for these in the future. From Minnesota! Thanks!
I grew up in the Florida Parishes, strawberry country, of Louisiana. When I was growing up farmers raised a little tiny strawberry called the Klondike variety. It was known for its sugar content. It was developed in Ponchatoula LA. Sadly modern buyers favored larger variety berry’s that are not sweet. Both the Klondike variety and the Louisiana strawberry farmer are a part of the past.
