My adult grandson and I met with Ms. Carolina Alverez to assist us with health insurance through the Marketplace. My husband and I are truly grateful to Olivia Seksinsky and Connor Johnson who handled my family's case with thorough care. If it wasn't for their research and guidance, I am certain I would have made a mess of my legal situation. Luckily for us, they accepted our case and lead us to a result we can handle. A result that relieves us of a HUGE financial burden that would have taken us many years to resolve. Central VA Legal Aid Society is lucky to have the two of them on their team. Many blessings to the entire firm.
A family member has been in contact with legal aid for almost a year, and there has been no progress made in addressing the leaks, management issues, and other concerns. I do not recommend legal aid services, as it appears that they receive compensation from the state for clients they do not effectively assist, which is disheartening.
