Worst trucking company. They’ll give you a good price and your book with them but will keep pushing off your pick up one day after another. Keep on lying to you every time you call. Save yourself a lot of headaches and use a different trucking company.
Central Transport has incredibly attractive quotes that end up giving you sticker shock when they turn into bills. They make up accessorial charges on the fly they "reweigh" my freight and suggest it has somehow doubled overnight. They have made up rules to attatch fees to larger cubic shipments by billing anything under 51" high at that height and anything over bills out at 96" high. If you find yourselves in the middle of a delivery transaction with this company, you’re in for one of the worst experiences of your life. I recently purchased a shed from Home Depot which was scheduled for one date and to my surprise, was to arrive almost a week in advance. Thought that would be great news but unfortunately, no one would be home which I made it very clear to whoever called me for delivery confirmation 24 hours prior. Good company/station to work for. Managers /supervisors are helpful and never rush you. Clean station, trucks (most), okay equipment.
