If you are going to get a mortgage, look elsewhere. They massively undervalued my home to the point where I couldn't refinance. My home was appraised just a year before by another bank. Their appraisal was before home values jumped in value. My home was still valued 28k less by cmcu's appraiser. I had to pay 500 for the appraisal for nothing. To the loan officers credit, she did say that my home was probably going to be undervalued by their appraiser. So I guess its partly my fault. Such a waste of 500 dollars.
I only gave it one star because I had to...will never return to this bank again the teller Marjorie was so rude unprofessional and unofficial I cannot believe it. I left with my heart racing and my palms sweaty.... I do shared branching through Credit Unions all across the state of Maine and I've never had such a horrific experience as I did in this Bank. Shiny floors and a nice counter does not make you a nice Bank. I will be reaching out to the branch manager tomorrow.
