It was an incredibly difficult decision to surrender our bird, but Central Florida Parrot Rescue and Parrot Sanctuary made the process so much easier. Knowing our bird will be going somewhere they are genuinely cared for brings us so much comfort. We never felt rushed to say goodbye, and the compassion shown by the staff meant more than we can express. We are truly grateful for their kindness and would highly recommend this organization.

I will forever be grateful to Alexa and the Central Florida Parrot Rescue and Sanctuary. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome my two parrots as I had cancer and heart and lung issues and was advised to not keep my birds. My Moluccan Cockatoo is 26 and I had him since he was 6 months old, my African Grey I adopted when he was around 5 and he is now around 30. The team has taken incredible care of my green cheek that was too social to be happy at home with us. My baby was in great health but socially miserable as my work changed to primarily be traveling. My very social, funny, and smart flock bird is happier now. Thank you!!!

So grateful for the great care of their birds and amazing people! My mom lost her conure of 30 years- wasn’t planning to find another one, while visiting with my daughter for the day Alexa and Paul stopped what they were doing to help my mom to bring home a beautiful conure.

Alexa was very kind and helped my mother through the hard decision to re- home her bird. She made me feel that Hiey was going to be ok in his new home.
