Been with Empire bank for over 30 years
Empire Bank has been our family bank for over 40 years and we welcome the Central Bank of The Ozarks as it continues in the proud traditions of a great and caring bank! I have not had problems at this branch but notice others without the required identification becoming hostile when they don’t get their way. We have to remember that banks are experiencing many new restrictions and regulations. Not a good bank to bank with it takes 5 to 6 days for a check to clear even when the check is out of their bank I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone!
I enthusiastically recommend JoAnn Mattingly, Central Bank's VP, Residential Lending Officer at 425 N. New Ballas Place, Creve Coeur, MO 63141 She was creative, helpful and overall outstanding in her help to my wife and me in meeting our financial needs. You cannot do better than JoAnn to assist you with residential lending business.
Decent bank. I always received prompt service when I went inside a branch. Nothing made them stand out particularly.
This bank is sloppy. I've had numerous times when they were supposed to transfer money and didn't. I have had a post-dated check honored and then hit with an overdraft fee they refused to reimburse. Maybe back in 2010 (when the other review was written) they were great, but they're garbage now.
I have been a loyal customer with the bank for eight years and have a mortgage account with this bank. I have noticed a steady decline in customer service since being bought by Central Bank. Today was the worst customer service experience ever. Looks like they will be losing a long standing customer.
Turned off my atm card when I didn't return their phone call. Their explanation was " to get my attention ". A few weeks later there was another call, I attempted to return it however was told there was no reason for the call. Having my attention from previous weeks I stopped by the local branch just in case where I was reassured everything was fine.
