I've had good experiences with CARTS. Their prices are more than reasonable . Kenaitze Kahtnu is still in the beginning stage. Not enough stops or times. Alaska cab is too expensive. A cab ride from Old Town Kenai to Walmart is almost$10. A CARTS ride from Old Town Kenai to Peninsula Mall was $7.75. That's pennies compared to the cab. Plus they have a great working app.

We don't own a car and rely on CARTS, Kenaitze bus and cabs. CARTS is the best and most affordable option. Alaska cab is too expensive, it costs almost $10 to go from my home to Walmart... 1.7 miles!!!!! The new Kahtnu bus is fantastic, but it's in its early stages. Very few stops, only 3-4 times a day. Not enough. CARTS is 24 hours a day. And they have an app now too.

2nd review, 3-24-26, no coment from these folks, it must be time for an audit... Why would you drop a customer off at midnight in the middle of the road because it was to snowy out..!!! The customer was forced to walk the rest of the way home? Did the driver not think how unsafe that was? bears, moose and other critters out there??And one more thing, who does your accounting? We sent you folks a money order and it was LOST we were told OR JUST PLAIN STOLEN.. WE had to pay double that Time..

I truly like this Transit business. I have medical appointments so does my father and son There’s a couple times that we’ve been a tiny bit late but for the most part, your card drivers are friendly. They understand if you get a little stressed the ride is comfortable. I highly recommend this way to travel if you’re in the Kenai Peninsula.
