ETA I am definitely leaving Centra after being denied my own money. I have no idea how a business runs like this but i will be in your Madison branch tomorrow morning to voice my displeasures! Very displeased with how a recent dispute was handled. I will definitely be rethinking my banking choices after this.
Impossible to get a live person to speak to. When they do connect, they cannot help or answer questions.

I've been with centra for 18 years and never had any issues until the last 2 years. They implemented (at some point) overdraft fees which is fine, however it's not something you can opt out of. If there's not enough funds in the account the card should be declined. The card no longer gets declined unless at a physical location, excluding gas stations, which makes absolutely no sense because it should decline no matter what type of transaction, online or in person. I called to sort out a $29 fee when my account was overdrawn ... read more
