Center Street Antiques is the best antique place in Santa Cruz County. The inventory changes frequently and that is the sign of a well run store. The store is not filled with smalls, but offers a good mix of options at generally fair prices.
Walked in with a very nice item I wanted to discuss. Couldn't find anyone to assist me. One very slow, meandering lap around the interior, then out the front I went. I'm pretty sure the woman sitting on the bench in front was the one who worked there, but if so, she had no interest in engaging with me. So I went across the street and spoke to some very friendly and helpful ladies and quite enjoyed the conversation. I love this store. All the items are clean and displayed beautifully. I always find a treasure and reasonably priced.
So much to choose from and everyone is very helpful!
