A week ago, I found out how important it is to shop around. I priced a bottle of brandy at a Mitcham shop (not the hotel) and it was $52. At my local shop, Cellarbrations, it was $41. That is an enormous difference!! Thank you, Cellarbrations, for not ripping me off. It's not worth my time to go anywhere else these days! By the way, this review was NOT solicited.
My elderly, 86 year old father in law, went into the Blackwood store today to buy a bottle of Johnny Walker for his sons birthday. My father in law is not a drinker and is about 4 foot tall. He tells me when he gets home today that the staff didn't help him to much, they simply pointed in the direction of where the bottles were and said top shelf. I've always had the best experience when coming into the local (vs Thirsty Camel). Shout out to Jackson, he goes above and beyond to help customers out in a friendly manner. He knows the best options for what I've been after. I'm happy to pay the little bit extra at times for such great customer service from him (and the other staff go alright, too) keeping me informed of specials and quality of products. Thanks guys! 😊
Easy,close parking. Friendly and helpful staff who are pleased to assist. A very good product range for a non warehouse type store. Prices normally competitive but exceptionally cheap when on special.
