DO NOT LET YOUR PARENTS MOVE HERE!! Such a stressful situation for my elderly mother. She has been living in a cockroach infested apartment for 4 months. They said the cockroaches came from a different apartment but they will not let her out of her lease to move somewhere else. She has found them in her food, in her mouth, horrible! My mother and I toured SHAG Celebration unit on September 17th 2025. We worked with Amber, one of the managers of the senior living center. Amber was supposed to send a link for an application for the unit my mother was interested in. We received the application by email, and applied, and put a holding deposit of $376.86. A few days later (September 19th) I reached out not having heard anything back about the application. I wrote a review about this place around 6 years ago and gave it one star, this time I wouldn't even give 1 star but one is as low as it goes! To start with my son has been blamed for everything that goes wrong here!!! Now they gave him no tresspassing, when he has been here he helps the people in and out the doors, he is very good to the elderly as he loved his grandparents! It used to be good but it took 3 days to get the water back running, elevator functionality is spotty at best so you better hope if you or someone you know is going to live here they might want to be able to climb stairs. Rent has gone up from around 700-800 to around 1400+ and parking is a damn joke, and you better not ever misplaced your key card that will cost you a crisp $50. No I don't live there but I have family members that do and at their age this is some BS.
