My mother has been living at Cedarhurst in Woodstock almost 2 1/2 years. I left Cedarhurst today feeling so grateful my mother is in a safe environment where the staff serves with a big heart and from a practical standpoint consistently meeting the needs of the residents who call Cedarhurst home. Also, the support provided to the resident’s families is amazing; I not only appreciate it, but have come to rely on it. I feel very blessed that my mother is living at Cedarhurst of Woodstock. I came to visit my grandma a couple days ago. When I asked one of the caregivers who was on her phone for help, Jennifer said she would be right back with someone, but she never came back. I had to waive down another caregiver after minutes of waiting for someone to come back.
They keep jacking up the rent $600 a month every year. That's $7200 a year so my mother's rent is up $21000 in 3 years.
I visited Cedarhurst Senior Living of Woodstock. I was checking the facility out as a potential home for my parents. I found the facility to be beautiful both inside and out! I love the courtyards! They invite their residents to enjoy the calming effects of nature and an opportunity to socialize. I felt the dining room was clean and had a variety of meals to choose from.
