The wonderful things that the staff said when my friend was moved into Cedarhurst of Lawrence turned out to be all talk, and some very bad follow through. From safety, to adjustments as normal dementia behaviors developed, to basic record keeping, it was a very terrible , sad experience. They ran out of medicine, failed to keep track of medicine given, and when behaviors were not as they wished, the organization raised the rates AND kicked my friend out.
