My grandma has been at Cedercroft place for quite a while now, she has grown to love it! I visit every so often and she is always so happy, the rooms are amazing! I love how Rodgers is ready to install in the building, the management is also wonderful, reception staff and nursing help a lot! The room is always spotless whenever I visit! Its amazing! My mom moved to Cedarcroft one month ago after the death of dad in October. Stacy, the director was so attentive while Dad was in hospital in Kitchener, making plans to house both of them upon discharge. She assisted in the discharge process by attending the family discharge meeting which secured Dad's going home, not going down the usual long-term care route. Poor food, poor management, building needs a lot of updates. Not recommended! Poor care
I was one of the best resident aides there for over a year and always treated ALL my residents with the utmost care, was part of a 'nonexistent union' and was let go due to lies and accusations from toxic abusive coworkers and a new head nurse.. don't even get me started on the constant disrespect from management. I wasn't even able to say goodbye to any of my residents whom I was close with. This place is still run like a barn and everyone that works there continue to abuse their residents and staff! I DON’T TRUST THEM. They are more about the money than the patient care. Privately or conglomerate owned with top heavy management instead of proper nursing care…. I’m now saving over $18,000 per year with 24 hour care instead of occasionally checking in ….. 1/2 star
