Lake Cumberland CDL school is an excellent place to get your CDL driver's license. Most of the people that I met there were great at their jobs and they will go up and beyond the normal to help you in any way they can. I would highly recommend like Cumberland CDL school to anyone considering a career as a professional commercial driver.
Im giving this place a 2 star due to the lack of professionalism and horrible communication from higher management down to each branch. Failed communication to let me know whether I had been on the schedule for that day or following days I drive a 2hr commute there and back meaning gas and time is valuable. I do not recommend this program due to communication, professionalism, and they jam their classrooms full with only 2 trucks which hardly operate as is. I'll tell you what, I have had a lot of instructors in the past and all throughout my military career. Gary and Ally are by far the best instructors I have ever had... no bs. They treated me like family from the first day and when it came to learning the half million things you have to know, they helped with showing better ways to remember each individual step. Instructors have many years of experience and I passed all exams on the first try because of their expert knowledge. I highly recommend this school.
