When I started at CBI Health I was in pretty bad shape. I had a lower back spinal injury and a hip injury. I couldn't walk without using a walker, I couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes even if I was holding on to anything and even sitting had me in a lot of pain. Thanks to Harun, Simaran and Tyler (therapist) I am finally 95% better! Now I'm finally back at work and getting back to my life outside of work. It was a great experience to work with Tyler he was soft spoken which I must say kept my anxiety down, he was very patient with me and asked often If I needed breaks. I didn't feel rushed at any time to do any of the cognitive exercises or the physical exercises. I could take as many breaks as needed. When I felt pain he offered ice packs and made sure I had water. He was great to work with during my 2 day assessment, I thank him for being kind and considerate during our interactions.
I had been treated at CBI Health Islington for several months, and they became almost like a family to me: Theresa at reception, always with a smile, Harun, Saba, Tyler, Simaran. I had a two day work assessment with Tyler. The facility is bright, open and clean! The staff are friendly and helpful. Tyler was both professional and compassionate; he helped to make a challenging two days fun and relaxed. An amazing OT!!
