My review keeps getting flagged for spam by the staff I'm assuming because I said the truth. In a nutshell this place is just a glorified homeless shelter. They tell you it's a 60 to 90 day program average but if you advocate for yourself you'll be lucky to get out of there in 5 months. You don't have to go to group. You can smoke contraband cigarettes and provide positive drug screens. You cannot get kicked out for anything. I watched two people fight in front of staff and both got to stay. This place is a joke. It's more of a homeless shelter for recovering addicts then it is a program for recovery. I was highly unpleased with the complete lack of enforcing program rules by staff. This place is like a free for all. It's supposed to be a 60-90 day program. Instead there's people who have been there for 7 months. You don't have to worry about getting kicked out if you don't attend group. Like I said in the beginning, a complete joke.

I was a CARS employee, not a client, but I found much of what I observed of clients' treatment, even basic care, problematic. Concerns I brought to management and HR were dismissed without consideration; instead I was reprimanded for my "tone" in email correspondence and given a performance review that was completely different from the glowing informal feedback I'd been given up to that point - my reviewer even encouraged me to find work elsewhere since I was clearly "unhappy" there.
