I am just so grateful this clinic exists- we really need more womens health care clinics like Caya. I was feeling incredibly lost and overwhelmed with my challenges with no right direction coming through and Caya came as a saving grace. I cannot recommend Dr. Van Wyk highly enough. She is an exceptional physician with a warm and caring approach, paired with deep expertise in women’s health and hormones. She takes the time to truly listen, never dismisses symptoms, and is both proactive and thorough in her care. I have experienced excellent care from the physicians, and pelvic floor physiotherapists here. They value human connection, and have treated me with dignity and respect. This is very restorative in itself- I am a cis-woman who has experienced dismissal and invalidation from the health system for my "women's needs". I was told I just have to deal with pelvic pain as "part of being a woman".
