On July 3, 2026, at around 1:00 p.m., my girlfriend and I visited the Cavender's location in Denton off I-35 because I needed a straw hat for work. When we entered the store, we were greeted, which I appreciated. I then went to the hat bar, where only one employee, who I forgot his name but he had a blonde burst fade/mullet with a pencil thin mustache was assisting a family of four. This place is an absolute joke. We just drove OVER AN HOUR to pick up an order that was placed online. We called ahead of time and asked if the order was filled because we never received a confirmation code. The incompetent girl who answered the phone looked NO FURTHER into it and said that “it should be filled either today or maybe tomorrow” if she would have looked further into the order she would have seen that THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE THE ITEM IN STOCK. Absolutely unacceptable.
