I bought a pair of boots and tried them on at the store at 410 by Evers Rd.. They seemed to fit well. I took them home and wore them around the house where I noticed they were tight at the ankle bone. I took them back along with the receipt. The manager looked at them and told me he was not going to take them back because they were used. All I wanted is to exchange them for a different pair. They were brand new! The people make the difference. We visited 5 different western wear stores on our visit to San Antonio. We went into Cavender's to check them out. We had a young lady help my 16-year-old son find a pair of boots he felt comfortable in. She took the time to answer questions and help my son. He is quite shy and uncomfortable in sales situations. I really had a amazing experience here. First time getting some cowboy work boots. As I was looking, Maria welcomed me and answered all my questions. Also recommended me some boot care remedies. At the counter, Brett and Jeannie were so awesome. Jeannie and Brett told me all cowboys need a boot jack, so they picked one out.
