I had an extremely disappointing experience with this paralegal firm and would never recommend their services. Andrew Choubeta was assigned as my paralegal and demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. He failed to attend any of the pre-hearing meetings, arrived unprepared for the actual LTB hearing, and gave me incorrect legal advice that significantly damaged my case. Don't retain these people. I gave them more than $2000 because I was being evicted and nothing was being repaired in my unit. They were no help in avoiding the eviction and getting the repairs done. When I took the issue to the Landlord and Tenant board the firm was no help in gathering evidence. Then the paralegal went on leave right before the hearing and I had no one to build my case with. Please be aware of this law firm. They are very unlawful, unfair and unprofessional. We gave our retainer fee four years ago and nothing has been done with our case. In fact, the lawyer went on sick leave, and left us high and dry and nothing done with the case. In fact, he missed the deadline to file and we lost the case. On top of that they will not refund us the retainer fee.
I am glad I choose Caveat LLP service to have them handle my LTB case. Their team is truly dedicated to provide excellent service. I highly recommend to anyone seeking legal advice and service.
