I am deeply disappointed by the conduct of Caveat LLP, particularly the way their lawyer Angela Smith has handled this matter. Her communication with me has been dismissive, unprofessional, and evasive filled with backhander insults… far below what is expected from any legal professional. Angela who represented this firm did the minimum of what I retained them for. I hired her as an employment lawyer regarding my severance package and in the end, I was terribly disappointed with her performance other than serving a letter. The firm was often unresponsive in answering emails and calls and often left responsibilities to their assistants. August 2025: received spam marketing from this firm while in active litigation with their client asking me to join Alignable. Very unprofessional. Filed a complaint with the LSO after receiving a letter from this law firm that requested I directly ignore my rights as dictated in the RTA regarding safe access to mail, garbage and common areas.
