The spa and lodge is so beautiful and very clean. I got a facial and massage to celebrate my birthday and relax. My esthetician talked for the entire 60 minutes and pushed product on me to purchase. My massage experience was even worse. The therapist’s pressure was so hard on my right shoulder, I was stiff for most of the day despite my notes saying I wanted the focus to be on my hips and lower back. She also forgot I had scheduled a foot scrub. Will not be back again.
Fabulous in all the best ways. Herman, my therapist was excellent. Space could not have been more wonderful. Really enjoyed sauna, lounge and outdoor jacuzzi. Looking forward to coming back
Had an exceptional experience. Came in for a prenatal massage and the signature facial followed by a lunch brought to the spa from the cavaliers lodge restaurant, and chill time in the meditation pool. The service was incredible, and so was the lunch and the facilities were very zen and clean. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back
The massages I've had were mixed in quality, one was great. I was uncomfortable, though, when I was asked to pay and told a 22% tip had been added without my asking and asked aloud "would you like to change this amount?" This was asked with another patron there and it felt unfair, like if I wanted to tip less I would be publicly judged for it. To me, it felt manipulative instead of offering a chance to be grateful.
