Took a “wine and pottery” class and it was so fun! They gave great direction and were willing to help along the way. It was fun to have time at the end to decorate our pottery.

I really enjoyed trying my hand at making thrown pottery. I was intimidated because I'd heard it is much harder than it looks (which I can affirm), but relieved that with excellent instruction and guidance (thanks Doug!) it is possible to learn enough to make a basic piece or two in one class. Also, Kevin's demo was amazing! After learning first hand how tricky it is to do, it was even more impressive to watch somebody with his extensive experience and skill in this art.
