eyes to the future get my ayes My daughter is now in her 2nd year at Catherine Cook and she loves it. The school focuses on the kids and on their futures. Computer tech teacher is full time, classes are looking to future needs, etc. The teachers are great, all are very enthusiastic. I was concerned with no high school but now realize this is best. Great independent Pre-school plus K-8 The Catherine Cook School is the best independent, nondenominational,pre-college preparatory school is the chicago area. While the Academics are tough, the small class sizes make sure no child ever falls through the cracks. The children are some of the nicest,brightest and most fun kids you will find in any school. Exclusive It's a pretty exclusive school but worth the money if you like these kinds of schools. The Cook School only admits up to middle school age (I think that's about 14). Also, supposedly they're non-denominational but they do observe certain religous holidays. Lastly, they don't admit special needs kids and the screening is very, very rigorous.
