Catalina Classic Cruises is a local favorite, running passengers back and forth to Santa Catalina Island since 1971. I've ridden with them all throughout the years. Their service is always excellent; the crew is always friendly and helpful. Their large, spacious boats provide a wonderful crossing, without the discomfort of "airline" seating, and passengers are always treated to a "whale watch" when conditions are right. A piece of classic Long Beach history, still in motion!
