High on cats, Low on people skills I was in C'ville for businexx and had free time to spend at the mall after. I found this adorable store, and as the mom of several 4-footed feline fur babies I was prepared to spend some serious kibble. HOWEVER, I decided to take a picture of one of the mugs to email to a girlfriend - a self-professed cat lady, and was rudely interrupted by the saleslady who told me photos were not permitted, as they were concerned I might be taking it to look up on the internet later. Cat Lover's Heaven For people who love cats, this store is a heaven. It is also a great place to buy unique gifts for the cat lover. For people who aren't into cats, this store could be a little overwhelming. This place is a blast to browse and is tiny, so it is easy to do. There are MANY different products here and the staff is very friendly. PROS: Great store for cat lovers CONS: Scary store for cat dislikers
Cat House is completely amazing for the cat lover! The Cat House is an amazing, unique, boutique-style store -- locating on the pedestrian mall in Charlottesville, VA. I recently stayed at the Omni Hotel for a business trip and stumbled upon this little piece of heaven. The owners are exceptionally helpful and completely went out of their way to assist me. Best Cat-Themed Store in Albermarle County If you're a cat lover, then the Cat House WILL MAKE YOU HAVE KITTENS. That is how good it is. I'm in law school, so it's so great to be able to unwind after a long day with some cats, and this place has the absolute best nip to keep your cats happy. Super sticky. My only complaint is that their yarn selection is a little lacking. Overall a great place, and I think I speak for all cat lovers when I say... MEOW!!1!
Purr-fect gift shop Recently stumbled on this store while visiting in Charlottesville and exploring the wonderful pedestrian mall. What a bonanza! I found dozens of purr-fect gifts for my cat-loving friends and family, for many birthdays and holidays to come! The owners were very helpful, and I wish I'd known they don't have a website (in case I've forgotten someone...)
