Placed a $1500 order 2 months ago, they charged my right away... Still waiting for my order. Have made several phone calls and either nobody answers or I get excuses. Zero proactive communication from this company. If something is out of stock and backordered, it would be customary to send an email or a phone call, not let your customers sit and wonder where their order is. I went with this company and this kit because they were US based, and it seemed like it was good quality stuff from the photos. A big selling point of this was the power supply. This is much more expensive then piecing all of this together yourself, but I figured it comes with a nice power supply and they'll be my go to for restocking these supplies. Caswell, Inc is the owner of *** ******* ***. They are a manufacturer of *** ******. I ordered a $2000 unit 7.5 hp surface drive kit, and ran it for under 2 hours. I immediately called to indicate concerns about the unit funcrionality, and my after dealing with their service manager for 3 months to try and diagnose the issue, they agreed to accept a return for repair. This is not an accurate review. The customer claimed a defective product and we paid the freight charges to have it returned to us. Upon arrival, it was found to be operating perfectly. We notified the customer of return shipping charges and the customer agreed to pay them.
Ordered a $200 1.5 kit for copper electroplating. Came with a pump, anodes, anode filters, a bucket, copper crystals, and Caswell branded brightener. The pump does not work. The supplied instructions are for a completely different model. The tube does not fit around the fastener to hold it to the pump. The pump itself is extremely flimsy. The brightener leaked out in shipping. Inside of the rigid bucket so it was a packing fault. It had virtually no padding. The copper anode filters are the wrong size.
