Casual Adventure is great! Great place to find clothes for all your outdoor activities and support a locally owned store. It's convenient and the people who work there are very helpful.
For all your adventure needs! Casual adventure meets all your adventure needs! I went to Casual Adventure to outfit my son for an upcoming 2 mile backpacking hike. They are official outfitters for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, and carry all of their uniform needs. The knowledgeable staff was able to outfit my son with the proper hiking shoe, and all the materials he would need to make his adventure fun! These guys really know camping! When you're tired of big chains where you end up having to help the staff, this is the place you want to go. The staff here really know their stuff when it comes to outdoor adventure and they don't just try to sell you the lastest gadgets or most expensive equipment. When we were trying to get our sons ready for a two-week backpacking trip in New Mexico with the Boy Scouts, this was the go-to place for gear. They have a good selection of boots, tents, packs, outerwear and camping gear. They sell even some items that even REI does not carry. The sales staff is smart and helpful.
The store is easy to overlook if you are driving by but for those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors it is a real treasure! This family owned and operated store appears small but is actually quite large inside, on par with the local REI and EMS shops. The gear selection is first rate, whomever does their buying stocks the shelves with a good selection of high quality equipment at various price points. The pricing is near retail.
