Been visiting for years - almost every time I go to Springfield! Best stocked shop in Southern Illinois or Missouri, especially detail parts. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Only a few minutes off of Route 4 on old Jacksonville road.

One top notch hobby shop!!! Well stocked, and the owner and fellows that work there are actually model railroaders themselves...so they know the products and how to use them.Great prices...beats eBay and some swap meet prices on large ticket items...like engines, and rolling stock.

Amazing off the beaten path find! Great knowledge on any question i asked! Beats hobby lobby or any hobby store! Awesome set up w trains outside and over ponds around trees. Worth the drive, ill definetely go back. WOW!
