Cherie‘s Castle Rock Farm is one of the best eco and self-sustainble accomodations we‘ve been to!!! On our way up to Cairns, this was a lovely green retreat with a spacious chalet for six, a fully equipped kitchen and lush greenery wherever your eyes go. This place exceeded our expectations, I would gladly give it more than 5 stars. Totally worth driving up there !!! Stayed in the chalet for 4 nights with our family as part of an iterinary booked by a travel agent. It's spacious, has everything you need (eg even a press to make fresh juice from orchard oranges, should you want to), a nice outdoor shower, a beautiful spacious deck. Absolutely incredible weekend celebrating my 30th birthday amongst friends at this beautiful property. Cherie was attentive and answered any questions, she provided lots of information about the property and surrounding hikes. We loved the huge communal kitchen and spending time in nature, an unforgettable and very special place that I can’t wait to return to

What a wonderful place! It’s incredibly peaceful, with the soothing sounds of the forest all around. We were truly pampered by Cooper and Tish — such warm and caring people. An exceptional place to stay!
