I will never use this company again. Very friendly until I needed my furniture to be finished and then they became very defensive. I was told that my furniture would not be picked up until it could be put in the rotation to be repaired so that I wouldn't be without it any longer than necessary. I was actually told that more than once. I was also told that once the work got started, it would require 2 or 3 days to complete. My furniture was there for 25 days and I only got it back after several unpleasant calls. If using them... read more

Castilian did a terrible job on 2 club chairs. I sent them back 3 times with very little change. When they picked them up the first time, I furnished them 3 pictures and a detailed descriptive list of changes I wanted them to do. They assured me they could do what I asked. Over the next month, all they did was complain about my very expensive fabric (Kravet velvet). I finally gave up and enlisted another upholsterer who did exactly what I wanted. shabby job – I had an antique sofa with wooden trim around the back and along the bottow redone at Castillian and they nailed the trim back into place and after about a year most of the nails had worked themselves up. My husband and I have to hammer them back into place every month. I've had a sweater snagged on nails. I wish I had gone somewhere else because they ruined a beautiful sofa.

Great workmanship - poor customer service – The BAD: On two visits the front floor female was too busy talking and joking with a man to greet me or see if I needed assistance. On the second visit I had to interrupt her after 15 minutes of joking and laughing with another guy. If an employee needs to be replaced...just to it...it hurts referral business and if it's a family member, tell them to go get a job elsewhere. Satisfaction – This is my first t review and wanted to thank Castilian. For their excellent customer service, and the job they did on recoving my sofa and love seat which they did out of linen. They have very reasonable prices and could not be more pleased with their work. Would recommend to any of my close friends and family.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. – Jennifer at Castilian Upholstery measured my 4 ottomans for slipcovers. Since I have a two year old, I told her they would need to be cleaned frequently and I thought she would take this into account when suggesting fabric and measurements. Clearly, I was wrong. After only one dry cleaning of my $800.00 slipcovers, they shrunk where they no longer fit. My other slipcovers, NOT made by Castilian, were also cleaned the same day and still fit beautifully.
