Kaila Dotten was wonderful to work with. She helped our family and I through a difficult family situation after my husbands father passed away and his last wishes were disputed by other family members. I obtained a judgement from the Civil Resolution Tribunal against an organization, and I registered it with the BC Supreme Court without any legal help. When I complained to the organization that they had not met the conditions of the judgement, I received a dismissive letter from their lawyer indicating that my argument was not valid, and that I should cease further communication. I hard good things about this firm and chose to have them handle my father’s estate after another professional recommended them. I only dealt with one lawyer at the firm so I can not comment on the whole firm. Being this was my first estate I needed more hand holding through the process. At the end I was asked “how was your experience” and I said more hand holding needed to be done and it was not a good experience.
