The Caspar House saved my life. I have 2 years of sobriety and the staff at the Caspar House helped me build my foundation. So grateful today.
It is outrageous that a facility claiming to assist mother's with their newborns up to one year old and or pregnant women in recovery are subject to no sobriety curriculum, no security, no clinicians that have first hand experience with children and or substance abuse. There is a continuous revolving door of case managers. The program called NEW DAY in Somerville needs to be closed, have it's funding evaluated, and have a real conversation about it's future.
