My mother was a resident at Cashmere Home in her final years and passed away there in 2011 . She had always resisted going into care but eventually had to as she was becoming unsafe living in her own home . Mum loved Cashmere , she was very happy there . She enjoyed the activities , the caring staff and the food too . Her sister had also been a resident at Cashmere before Mum went there and I know my Aunt also liked it there .
All i have to say is wow…. I brought my great grandfather food for the next day so i put it in the fridge and i ask the chef to make him some dinner next thing i know i see a bowl of baked beans and tea. The tea somehow had oil floating in the top and there was a tiny portion of beans? I told the staff about this and the woman started talking back to me saying “his choice of meal should be written down.” Though his daughter had already told them.
