It’s really sad to see this place go downhill since the new owners took over. The chicken was extremely salty and dry, and the chips were a mix of cold, soggy, and hot, which suggests they were either re-fried or mixed with old chips. I understand this has recently been taken over by new owners however please learn how to cook chips not burn them. They are burnt as anything and this is not the first time 15 min wait for chips is also a little excessive
The prices were cheap and the portions were large. I ordered chicken and fries, as well as a serving of cheese potatoes from the display case. All three dishes were incredibly salty! The chicken was very dry! I have never eaten such salty chicken and fries.
Customer service is terrible, you have to wait ages for your food and they don’t even care. Called ahead of time, said when I’d be in, came in at that time and had to wait another 15 minutes because they and I quote “got distracted packing up” You also are not allowed to go to the supermarket for 15 minutes while you wait for your food to cook because they won’t even make it unless you are stood in the shop waiting for it to cook.
