good wine selection, great hours – Casa oliveira is one of my favorite little wine shops in the west village. I usually look for good value, mid-range price wines ($10-20) and they have a great selection. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable, and they have the best hours of any store in the area (open to midnight every day except sunday - great for a last minute run late on a friday night). Friendly Wine Shop! Great Service! – Great find in Village near NYU and restaurants. I have been there many times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Whether I need a bottle of wine for dinner or vodka for a party-I always find what I'm looking for. Open until midnight Friday AND Saturday. Would highly recommend this store.
Great wine selection! – I have never had a bad experience here -- always open until midnight -- and really helpful service. The wine has been consistently good, as well as offering great sake and liquor. I would recommend to anyone in the neighborhood as they seem to be the only ones open when people really want to buy alcohol!
Corked wines – I have had bad experiences buying corked bottles of wine. The store were not helpful and did not give me a refund. I would not recommend this store and I will not use it again. Poor merchandise and poor service.
