Carter’s January 30, 2026 (2/5) The store itself was just okay — nothing terrible, but nothing impressive either . It felt a bit underwhelming inside. The bigger issue was customer service… or lack of it. We were never greeted , and when we were ready to check out, the cashier had her back turned to us while we stood directly at the register. Terrible service and zero follow-through "Carter's system crashed during my transaction, charged my card, and the store refused to release the clothes or fix the error. I spent weeks chasing them down, but management was 'never available' and never called me back. It’s ironic that they can’t even handle a transaction on their own store card. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. I had to file a dispute with my bank just to get a refund."

Don’t shop here if you’re black, they might as well have a sign that says “whites only”. My mother and I walked into the store and no one acknowledged us, but soon after multiple white customers walked in and they were greeted at the door. No smiles, no nothing for us, just weird stares and side eyes, the entire time we were there. The tension in the store was so thick, you could cut it with a knife, it was obvious we weren’t welcomed! I went today to buy clothes for my nephew and the sweet lady at the store help to find the pieces I was looking for. She was very nice, wonderful customer service, good quality and the locayion is very convenient.
