I dropped off a set of plans over a week ago and I have not heard anything back. Just to add to this comment now it's been 6 months and Carter lumber basically stole my house plans.

Do not buy from this place. Go to any other lumber store in the county but don't use Carter! I don't ever write reviews but the people at Carter have treated us so unfairly. The main guy designed our windows for a 10:12 roof pitch and then they sent us windows for an 11:12 pitch roof. Has refused to make it right. They also told us before ordering that we could return anything that was unused by the construction crew. We were sent way more materials then needed....and they gave us an extremely hard time about bringing them b... read more
Quick and no nonsense. Hella cheaper than Lowe's, so I can't complain.
