Went to the hope location as I live in hope shop local buy local! Was charged for a hearing test, I called asking why they said screening was free testing wasn’t. I didn’t realize testing is FREE so I was charged for something that’s FREE elsewhere. The place they do testing isn’t attractive to go into! Cupboard doors were off their tracks, water machine that was replaced three weeks ago the old one was still in the waiting room. Their samples of aids were outdated, being unavailable. Carter Hearing Hope: Terribly poor, inefficient, uncaring after sales service. Complete lack of communication between associates. I attended on Jan 20 to address an issue but was told to return Feb 3 to speak with a technician who did not even view my aids nor was she at all familiar with my complaint. Her only response was to attempt to sell me another hearing aid, I've had more sincere interest from used car salesmen. Great staff. Great service.
We went in person last week and booked appointments for my wife and I. This isn’t one of those places where you feel warm and welcome. We understood and wrote down “next Wednesday”. We arrived at the appointed time and waited until after 1:00 PM. We called the office number, which was picked up promptly. We explained the situation and were advised that the appointments were in fact, on Thursday.
