Must try! Sandwiches are wonderful. The steak and chicken lunch sandwiches are amazing. Get the side of potato and spicy mustard salad. Owner is experienced and friendly. There’s outside seating and plenty of high quality Italian grocery items for the kitchen. Will come back!
Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! We have ordered countless lunches from them and recently had them cater an event for 150 people for a welcome beach reception prior to our wedding! The sandwiches, salads, drinks and brown butter cookies were to die for. Guests have even asked to see if they ship the cookies (which they do). We always hit this place up during our visits to Carp. The owner, Deb, is lovely, and it’s clear she really cares about her customers and products. The sandwiches and soups are delicious (they have gf bread!), as are all the baked goods (gf muffins!). We loved the split pea soup the other night. I always end up picking up other gourmet items to try when I’m back home, like oils, fancy chocolates, tinned fish. Love having this as our regular spot in town.
The Godmother is the best sandwich in Carp! They’ve also done an amazing custom charcuterie board. Highly recommend for a quick lunch, catering or just stopping in to grab some great ingredients.
The service and atmosphere was great and so was the selection of food and drinks. Delicious fresh baked pastries, cakes, and cookies. The blondies with cranberry and butterscotch were out of this world! We also tried the hibiscus tea & lemonade which really hit the spot. Look forward to our next visit!
