I highly recommend Carolina Salt and Surf for any of your beach needs! I took surf lessons with Kyle and his team and they were hands down the best surf instructors I've had! They were awesome to hangout with and also provided the most beneficial tips and insight into surfing. All around good people. 10/10 would recommend!
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Kyle and Kailin! Communication was great regarding whether they had wetsuits in the right size, weather conditions, and timing. Our small 13 yo (~80 pounds) and our bigger 15 yo (~140) both stood up and rode several waves during their private 90 minute lesson--WOW! As a coach myself, I couldn't appreciate Kyle more. He was engaging with my kids, gave clear instructions and encouragement. The water was cold so my kids very uncomfortable but he projected confidence and focus and they became very successful!
Kyle is an incredible teacher and super professional. Also fun. Fully recommmend Carolina Salt!
Kyle was an excellent teacher. He was very knowledgeable and was able to tailor the lesson to make it feel approachable and engaging. He started with the basics and made sure that I was able grasp those concepts before moving onto more difficult concepts. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
