Mom is very happy at SO and doing better every day w/her recovery, use of wheelchair and mobility. PT/OT much better here than her rehab was at WOM for 3 wks. Need to get a camera for above her door as things happen after hours and on weekends with light staff. Needs more time with walker from edge of bed/using toilet, pivoting is getting better! Mom has been at Spring Oak for a little over a week now. She is so happy, so we (my brother, sister and I) are so happy! The staff is wonderful! Thank you Maddie, for helping us transition mom from living alone to living at Spring Oak. Thank you Angelique, for offering so many activities for mom to be involved in. This facility came very highly recommended from a person in the care services business. This is a very well run, efficient facility that will care for your loved one, allowing you to feel at ease. Madeline Hardwick (Director of Community Relations) is extremely competent, ensuring your loved ones recieve the care they deserve. She made the transition seamless and without doubt. Spring Oak was a blessing to my father. When he became ill we knew he would need assistance beginning small and eventually growing. Things like doing laundry, making meals, walking up/down stairs, driving, etc became difficult and all these things were immediately aided upon moving in. Not only was the staff hard at work, they also became his friends and family. I was Mom's caregiver for 13 years and the transition to Memory Care was hardest decision of my life. The team at Spring Oak were understanding and supportive of me as well as Mom. It wasn't easy but it was right thing. Now she has round the clock loving, caring people ensuring she is safe.
