When my husband (who also did a review here) suggested mediation which was an idea of a friend of his, I was really skeptical. I did a little Googling and it seemed like a pretty good idea. I was really concerned about my financial future and when I spoke to them they said that a person's financial success is very important to them. I wasn't really happy with my husband and I had already had a legal consultation and was about to retain an attorney. I have to admit, I really wanted to punish him, but I was advised that the la... read more
I always thought lawyers were the first ones to call in case of a divorce. But a friend of mine told me about mediation. I wasn't so sure. I called this place and talked to Mike. He was really helpful. He helped me understand how the entire process worked. He assured me that everything was going to be fair and I didn't have to agree unless I thought it was fair. Our kids are about out of college and he helped us figure out how we would finish them up financially. I thought the alimony amount we agreed to was also very fair. ... read more
My (soon to be ex) husband is now sober, but the aftermath of all of the drinking while we were together really affected me and my teenage boys. But he is their dad and he has been sober for about a year now. Carolina Divorce Mediators really helped us develop a plan where he spends time with the kids - and after he has really proven himself, they can spend much more time together. I originally went to a lawyer and paid over $40,000 for absolutely nothing. We accomplished in 4 hours more than the lawyers accomplished in almo... read more
My wife and I have teenagers and we were going to wait until they were out of high school to move forward with separating. I called and talked to this place and they were very helpful in showing us (me) ways to be creative with our kids. Our household has been kind of toxic over the last couple of years and it would have probably done our kids more harm than good if we stayed together. They did a great job helping us come up with a parenting agreement and also split the money fairly. My wife says she felt her support was rea... read more
I was not so sure about mediation at first because I didn't really know much about it. When I called this company, they spent a lot of time with me and my wife (we were on speaker together) and he explained everything in detail. We have three kids 15, 12 an 9. And the stuff we went through in the mediation made us feel really good about the whole thing. They did a great job and they really listened to us and what we wanted to do. Me and my wife hate that the divorce had to happen, but this was a really good way to do it. We ... read more
