I was never told, when I signed the lease,that the residents can smoke in the apartment, even though there is a no smoking sign on the managers door and outside entrance, very misleading. The manager is very unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend moving in the Carnegie Retirement Residence.
My uncle has lived here for many years. The building is dated but well kept. The management has always made things easy for me. Price is fantastic!
My mother lived here for a number of years and had a pleasant experience with Sheila, the manager. The rooms are comfortable, hallways were kept clean, worked out well.
My mother lived here until June of this year when she passed away. The manager is rude! The maintenance man is a joke! I had many run in's with them while my mother was living there. Now I am I am trying to get back the deposit...they said I took the mini blinds! They were there when I left the keys with the manager!! And charged us $135 to clean carpets and $175 for labor (had I known I had to scrub the rugs I would have taken my own machine down) and $222 for new blinds??? I got a wopping $92 out of $585 deposit!! What a r... read more
