Carmen was very helpful helping me get my son’s name changed! I had talked to previous lawyers who had turned me away saying there was no way they could help me due to our paternity affidavit in place, and I felt extremely let down. My son’s father’s absence in his life appeared to make no difference in my ability to keep him safe according to Indiana Laws, but Carmen gave me hope. Zero stars. Absolutely terrible. You hire her for a job and she will lose and then say she doesn't want to handle hard cases anymore and drop you even though the case still has upcoming court appearances. I did more work on this case than she did. She needs to find another profession. She just takes ur money and runs. DO NOT HIRE. She will just recommend you go start all over with a new lawyer.
