Great train station trains for every direction and many different services with Northern, Scot Rail, Avanti West Coast and transpeninie not to mention the steam trains provided by West Coast Railways, the station has a few tiny shops offering snacks and basic travel items, overall the station is amazing with lots of different things and is very good for trai spotting.

Beautiful historical city
Nothing wrong with the place itself but there where so many cancellations and delays so i asked a member of staff what platform i should be getting the next one from, just for confirmation and also explained that my train had been cancelled and he seemed completely annoyed and just barked platform 1 at me and i asked if he was sure and he just said platform 1 again so i was waiting there for another hour until i was thinking something wasn’t right and spoke to another member of staff who said i should’ve been waiting at plat... read more
